Riva Hotel Taksim - Istanbul

The inconsistent cleaning services could use improvement!!! Lacking adequate bathroom amenities like toothbrushes is disappointing!!! Small room sizes lead to discomfort during longer stays!!!

Impeccably clean hotel, and the staff were EXCELLENT, location was ideal close to best areas of Istanbul. Excellent service, although a few employees were bad. The room of the property was warm and modern with good matress and LCD TV, as for instance.

The service was good with a quiet atmosphere.

My stay at Riva Hotel was elevated by the warm hospitality of Mr Melih, and the amazing sea view from my balcony added a nice touch to my trip. Location was perfect for exploring Istanbul.

It's location is excellent right beside taksim and istiklal road. The area it's located in is very safe and quiet. The rooms are clean and nice. The staff are very friendly and cooperative, we changed our reservation (canceled a room) with no problems.

Well the reception space was small and poorly designed. That is the only comment. The place is well-located, clean rooms, friendly and cooperative staff.

Very central and the airport bus dropped us very nearby. Hotel comfortable and clean. Reasonably quiet even though it was a Friday night. Beffet breakfast good.

The location is spot-on, nestled close to public transportation and bustling shopping streets. Rooms offer a modern design with decent cleanliness levels, great for a relatively comfortable stay amid the city's chaos.

The room sizes felt cramped, especially with more than two people. It can get uncomfortable pretty quickly. Minor maintenance issues, like inconsistent heating, popped up-more annoying than tragic, but certainly noticeable .

The hotel offers a fantastic sea view, and we loved the breakfast variety-fresh and delicious every day! The staff was super friendly, especially Mert at check-in, and the helpful bellboy Kemal carried our luggage without a fuss.

My kids wished for a play area to unwind after exploring the city.

Helpfull staff, clean rooms, good breakfast ,good Internet signal,quiet atmosphere.

English language is the main problem ,fair room view

riva hotel is very good hotel but there is bad thing for riva hotel there is no swimming pool in riva hotel

The location - just a few yards from the Metro station. Restaurants and money exchange shops are nearby. Cross the road and you're on to Taksim square - about a 100 yards from the hotel. Isteklal street for the shopping is also very close. Staff was pleasant even if they did not go out of their way to help. Rooms and toilets were clean and fittings were nice.

We wanted a late check-out since I was travelling with a toddler but they only allowed an extra hour. They didn't mind us using their lobby and restrooms for killing some time though and kept our bags when we went out for the day. Also if your room is facing the street, it will be a bit noisy. We didn't mind the noise though.

The room was very clean and comfortable. All the facilities worked perfectly and people were very nice there. We got free fruits as a gift for the last evening we stayed. They also provided luggage storage room to keep our luggage safely.

The facilities in the room like tea pot, drinks like tea, free water etc were mot there and the room was too small.

The lights when getting off the elevator in the evening would not turn on. The room was bit impersonal; moreover, it did not look as good as it appeared in the picture of single room on the net.
